Canonical URL
A canonical URL is the preferred address of a page, declared via a rel=canonical link element. It tells search engines which URL should be indexed when the same content is reachable at multiple paths.
Every WebToSlides page declares a single canonical URL in its head, eliminating duplicate-content dilution across query parameters, locales, and trailing slashes. Pillar blog posts and converter landings carry canonicals that point to themselves; localized pages point to their language-specific path.
